Agent Cash Bonus Programs & SPIFFs

General Bonus and SPIFF Terms

  • Bonuses apply to all active TouchTone Agents.
  • Bonuses will be paid in addition to standard residual commissions (which are dependent on the relevant product or service).
  • Unless otherwise stated for a specific promotion, payment of bonus will be made along with the Agent’s standard residual commissions in the third month/commission check. For example, if a new customer is signed in August 2022 and generates their first invoice on 8/31/22, the 10/31/22 invoice will be used to determine the bonus commission amount for that customer and those amounts will be paid with the standard 10/31/22 commissions.
  • Bonuses are available to Agents for new customers or new add-on circuits only. Customers are considered new customers if the ANIs or circuits listed on the Service Agreement for their account are not, and have not in the past 12 months been registered with TouchTone Communications ("TouchTone"). Renewals and moves will not qualify for any bonus unless agreed to by TouchTone in writing.
  • Bonus commissions are paid one-time per customer to one specific agent. Payment of bonus commissions will be made based on the terms outlined in the Agent Agreement.
  • For all products and services, there is a maximum payout of $30,000 per customer, regardless of the number of accounts, locations or types of services, unless agreed to by TouchTone in writing.
  • A one-year minimum term is required to quality for any bonus.
  • Any sub-agents who receive commission checks directly from TouchTone will also receive bonus commissions directly from TouchTone. Any sub-agents who are registered under a Master Agency in which the Master Agency receives all commission payments for disbursement to sub-agents will have bonus commissions sent directly to the Master Agency.
  • In order for any bonus to be issued, the customer must be in compliance with the terms of their service contract, be current on all bills and have no delinquencies or bad debt. If a customer cancels service prior to the end of the contract term, significantly reduces usage or Monthly Recurring charges (50% or more), goes into collections status during or prior to the end of term or is disconnected for nonpayment, then TouchTone reserves the right to charge back the Agent the appropriate pro-rated portion of the bonus issued for that customer. That customer will also no longer be eligible for future bonuses.
  • Standard retail pricing must be used. Special pricing does not qualify unless approved by TouchTone.
  • Bonuses are paid for services charged at standard pricing. Any bonus for ICB pricing will be determined at that time.
  • Bonus/promotion programs cannot be combined. Only one bonus/promotion can be applied per order.
  • Commissions are not paid on taxes or any regulatory and/or mandated fees or charges.
  • Bonuses are for retail business only. Wholesale, resale, and non-retail accounts are not eligible.
  • TouchTone Communications reserves the right to add, delete, modify, or terminate the terms and conditions of this program at any time and for any reason that it may deem necessary. If any discrepancies exist between this document and the Agent Agreement, then the terms of the Agent Agreement shall prevail.

Promotional Period

  • Between 1/1/24 - 6/30/24, TouchTone agents can earn the following cash bonuses/SPIFFs.

Unified Communications

  • SPIFF payout is based per account/customer as defined below.
  • On 36-month agreements, agent will earn the following:

5-19 seats

  • Seats must be sold at standard pricing/rates apply.
  • On 24-month term agreements, agent will qualify for 1X contracted MRR.
  • New customers only.
  • Billing must commence with in 60 days of the receipt of the order.
  • For customers on a three-year term, the first half of the bonus will be paid out after the 3rd invoice, and the second half will be paid out after the 12th invoice.
  • A $15,000 maximum bonus payout applies per customer, regardless of the number of accounts or locations.

MPLS

  • Agent is eligible for a bonus on MRCs for MPLS services as follows:

  • For customers on a three-year term, the first half of the bonus will be paid out after the 3rd invoice, and the second half will be paid out after the 12th invoice.
  • A $20,000 maximum bonus payout applies per customer, regardless of the number of accounts or locations.

Ethernet, Broadband and Private Line

  • Agent is eligible for a bonus on MRCs for Ethernet, Broadband and Private Line services as follows:

  • A $15,000 maximum bonus payout applies per customer, regardless of the number of accounts or locations.

Dedicated Internet Access

  • Agent is eligible for a bonus on MRCs for Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) service as follows:

5G/LTE

  • Agent is eligible for a bonus on MRCs for 5G/4G LTE (Machine-to-Machine) services as follows:

  • A $5,000 maximum bonus payout applies per customer, regardless of the number of accounts or locations.

Switched and Dedicated

  • Bonus applies to switched and dedicated long distance (based on eligible usage).
  • Call center voice/short duration accounts must be reviewed on an individual case basis, pending margin analysis.
  • Eligible usage for switched and dedicated long distance is defined as 1+/outbound and toll-free long distance calling (excluding taxes, surcharges, monthly recurring charges, directory assistance, and operator assisted or any other add on charges or fees).
  • Resold services and wholesale accounts do not qualify.
  • Agent is eligible for a bonus on usage for switched and dedicated services as follows:

  • For customers on a three-year term, cash bonuses will be split into two equal payments. The first payment will be paid with the Agent’s commissions for the customer’s third month of billing, and the second payment will be made with the Agent’s commissions for the customer’s twelfth month of billing.
  • A $2,500 maximum bonus payout applies per customer, regardless of the number of accounts or locations.

SIP Trunking

  • Bonus applies to SIP trunking services.
  • Call center voice/short duration accounts must be reviewed on an individual case basis, pending margin analysis.
  • Eligible usage for SIP Trunking is defined as 1+/outbound, toll-free long distance calling and local DID usage, as well as usage bundles MRCs (excluding taxes, surcharges, monthly recurring charges outside of any usage bundle MRCs, directory assistance, and operator assisted or any other add on charges or fees).
  • Resold services and wholesale accounts do not qualify.
  • Agent is eligible for a bonus on usage for SIP services as follows:

  • A $15,000 maximum bonus payout applies per customer, regardless of the number of accounts or locations.

PRI Replacements

  • Bonus applies to PRI replacement service - both access and usage.*
  • Bonus payouts are based on term. See chart below.
  • *Eligible usage for PRI replacement service is defined as 1+/outbound, toll-free long distance calling and local DID usage, as well as usage bundles MRCs (excluding taxes, surcharges, monthly recurring charges outside of any usage bundle MRCs, directory assistance, and operator assisted or any other add on charges or fees).
  • Agent is eligible for a bonus on usage as follows:

  • Bonus applies to Ooma AirDial POTs Replacement Service.
  • Bonus is paid on monthly recurring revenue (MRR) for service only. Bonuses are not paid on equipment rentals, shipping, or any other non-recurring charges.
  • Agent is eligible for a bonus on usage as follows:
